I do not promise you a view of waterfront, but I know you will relax on the deck where you simply choose to build. Since this level ground, you do not bother with challenging ramps or soles. 1.) Dig the 4×6 wood in the soil, leaving about 1-1/2 "high risk. The wood must be parallel and diagonal measurements must be equal.
2.) Cut each 2×6 treated joists at 10 'Cut decorative curve on each end before installing them on treated wood 4×6.
3.) Lay out the spacing between joists if the joists are on 16-in. centers. Cut blocks to fit between the joists. The first series of blocks (one on each side) will be 13-1/4 inches, while the rest will be 14-1/2 inches long. Toenail each joist to wood. Make sure the ends All joists to align with each other as you toenails up.
4.) Nail your steel brackets for joists and between each block with 1-1/4 "galvanized nails joist bracket. Blocks to add stability to the bridge and give a finished appearance.
5.) Start nailing the 2×6 deck on one side, leaving a surplus of 1-1/2 inches. Keep the deck right and use a galvanized nail A spacer 16d. Depending on the spacing, you may need to rip the last piece of decking to keep the 1-1/2 "overhang. Once that the deck is nailed upright lengths, leaving a surplus of 1-1/2 inches.
